Volunteers play an essential role within our community.

Our community is built off of the hard work our dedicated volunteers provide.

Grants like these allow our volunteers and their organisations to be supported and to continue providing essential services that make our community such a great place to be a part of.

Last year, through the 2023-24 Volunteer Grants Round, 16 organisations across the electorate of Spence applied, and all were lucky enough to secure funding.

During National Volunteers Week this year, I held a barbecue at Apex Park in Gawler to celebrate the successful organisations.

You now have an opportunity to submit your organisation’s Expression of Interest to apply for the 2024-25 Round of Volunteer Grants.

You’re encouraged to apply even if you have before and of course, if you’re a new applicant.

Each electorate across Australia has access to funding of up to $66,225, with grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 to eligible non-for-profit community organisations to support the efforts of their volunteers.

This year, there are some new categories, which you can learn more about here, in this year’s Guidelines. The guidelines also provide details about eligibility and what you can apply for.
